The human body is approximately 60% water. Our blood is 92% water, brain and muscles are 75% water, and bones are about 22% water.
Thirst is your body calling for re-hydration and by the time you experience thirst, you are already dehydrated. When dehydrated we are affecting the performance of the majority of our body, as nearly all of our systems do not function as well without the proper water intake.
