Thanksgiving is all about family, fun and giving thanks…unfortunately there are some that have much greater things to worry about like feeding their families or keeping them warm during the cold winter season. There are many ways you can help and give back during this time of year. The National Coalition for the Homeless is a website that will help you find local soup kitchens where you can help prepare and serve up dinners for the homeless.
Your local Meals on Wheels Program will connect you to programs were you can bring a hot dinner to those who may not be able to join family or friends.
Anysoldier.com will give you the opportunity to create and send a care package to show your gratitude to the soldiers out there fighting for our freedom who might not be able to spend this special holiday season with their families.

The USO is a program that donates to military members and families regardless of what branch of the military they serve in. They help from deployment to rehabilitation and reintegration, provide care packages, entertainment, and recreation-type services to military members and their families & by visiting their site you will have the opportunity to make donation to help support the cause.
Foster Coalition is a website that connects you to different individual sites which give you the opportunity to help a foster kid without the need of becoming a foster parent. Things from donating homemade blankets, bikes, used clothes to becoming a foster grandparent or assisting with the transportation needs of these kids who do not have anyone else there to take them where they need to be, and many more helpful services needed for our foster children.
