We recently came across GladSoles and their customized barefoot sandals. They were kind enough to send us a pair to try out and to partner with us for a giveaway to give one of our readers a chance to experience their sandals.
The lucky team member who got to try them out says:
I have received and been able to use GladSoles the past week or so and I love, love, love them. They are very comfortable and in a very short time you get the feeling of going barefoot but without the worry of rocks or prickly plants sticking you in the foot. My feet feel amazing wearing them.
The GladSoles arrived in a stylish little cloth bag and the first thing I noticed was the quality of the sole itself. My GladSoles are black and are totally customized to my feet. The material is very sturdy yet extremely comfortable.
The process of creating my custom GladSoles was easy, I simply traced both of my feet, added a line for scale and faxed it to GladSoles. In a few days my custom GladSoles arrived and I was ready to lace them up. Lacing up GladSoles the first time or two was a bit daunting but I quickly got the hang of it. There are very helpful videos on the GladSoles website that explain everything from tracing your feet to lacing up the soles and cutting the string that creates the binding.
I think GladSoles are very cute and I have been wearing them everywhere I go here in Phoenix. I have received many compliments on them and so I know others feel the same way. In my opinion everybody should wear GladSoles.

I would choose Red laces because I think it will jazz up the sandals a bit and make them more fun.
This is the first time I hear about gladsoles and I must say, I am very interested… If I won, I would like to try the gladsole hybrid, since it is more of a versatile sandal. A lot of times I’ve purchased sandals in the past that I felt lacked in durability and quality. I would love to experience this particular sandal.
I failed to mention in my previous comment: I would probably go with a neon green lace and yellow lock color since green is my favorite color, and I think those colors would look nice with my skin tone.

Well, I’ve read up on all the available cool types of this so very neat style of sandal & I’ve narrowed it down to my TWO favorite styles, along with what my pick would be for the colors of laces & lock I’d pick it I’m lucky enough to win!!!! I’d pick either the GladSoles Eco or the GladSoles Street model, and I’d choose the Neon Pink laces with the Black colored locks for them!!!
