Nuts are rich in protein and fiber, and are packed with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fatty acids. Nuts are inexpensive, simple to store, have a long shelf life, and are easy to take along when you’re on the go.
While the type of nut you eat isn’t that important – almost every type of nut has a lot of nutrition packed into a tiny package – some nuts have more healthy nutrients and fats than do others.
