While looking for a recipe for something warming we came across this interesting take on warm milk.
Cardamom is a peppery, citrusy spice with the benefits of detoxification, aiding digestion, and it may help prevent and relieve cold and flu symptoms so with this recipe you can enjoy a tasty warm drink with a hint of spice and get a bit of health benefits to boost.
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh almond milk
1/2 vanilla bean (split open)
1 cinnamon stick
1-2 dates
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of sea salt
Directions:
Blend almond milk with dates, spices and vanilla bean.
Simmer on low with cinnamon stick. Do not boil.
Serve warm and top with more cinnamon.
