Ingredients
2 chopped grapefruits (peel and pith removed)
5 peeled and chopped carrots
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
Directions
Press grapefruits, carrots, and ginger in that order through a juice extractor. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes if desired before drinking.
You can use a blender but it takes a bit more effort. Add the grapefruit, carrots and ginger to your blender and puree until smooth. Wrap a jelly strainer bag over a large measuring cup or bowl and pour your puree into the bag. Gently twist the top of the bag closed and slowly twist the bag so the juice is released into the measuring cup or bowl. Keep twisting the bag until all of the juice is released. Stir and chill in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes if desired before drinking.
