By drinking one glass of apple cinnamon water before your meals you can give your metabolism a boost. This detox water offers a hint of flavor so if you want it to taste stronger slice the apples even thinner or just add more apples.
You will need:
1 thinly sliced apple (you can use any type of apple, sweet apples work best)
1 fresh cinnamon stick
Place the apple slices and cinnamon stick in the bottom of your pitcher. Fill the pitcher halfway with ice and then add water. Let stand in the fridge for about one hour.
You can refill with water 2-3 times using the same apples and cinnamon before they start to lose flavor but don’t reuse them for more than 24 hours.
