Celebrated from August 25-31, Be Kind to Humankind Week is all about celebrating kindness in the world, with the belief that kindness can be contagious.
It is basically a week of reflection and kind thoughts of others to make this world a better place. Of course practicing kindness daily is a good practice to be in, but this is the week you can take it to the next level. The week consists of seven days, each with it’s own unique theme:
The Days Of Be Kind To Humankind Week:
Sacrifice Our Wants For Others Needs Sunday
Show them that you care
Motorist Consideration Monday
Drive Courteously
Touch-A-Heart Tuesday
Spread kindness, one heart at a time
Willing-To-Lend-A-Hand Wednesday
Offer a helping hand
Thoughtful Thursday
Treat others well
Forgive Your Foe Friday
Come together
Speak Kind Words Saturday
Say something nice
The Be Kind To Humankind Week website has resources and suggestions for each day so be sure to spend a few minutes seeing how easy it is to be kind and remember to Be Kind To Humankind (and really, all living things) this week and beyond.
